Professional History

After obtaining his Masters Degree in Structural Engineering and Mechanics in 2011, David Ragan joined Alpha & Omega Group as an Engineering Intern. David has a diverse range of engineering related experience. He has worked as an Estimator and Field Engineer for Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. where his responsibilities included: preconstruction planning, estimating, quantity take-offs, coordinating and communicating with subcontractors and suppliers, material tracking and daily field reports. David has also worked as a Research Assistant for North Carolina State University. He was involved in full scale structural research projects. His work included planning, designing, and executing tests as well as structural analysis and technical report writing.
