How did you get into the Engineering field?

By an accident - was retrained with AutoCad. Only place that used it in the County was the Public Works which hired me part time. The rest is history.

If you could have dinner with 1 famous person (dead or alive) who would it be?
Tell us why:

Abe Lincoln, I would like to know his views during this country’s most trying time. Also, what it was like to live with no phone, electricity, cars, etc.

Which 1 TV show would you watch, if there was only 1 left in the world?

I am a movie guy that grew up in the 60s and 70s, although I do like several sitcoms. It would be hard to choose.

When you’re 70, where do you see yourself?

Retired, that was easy. No rocking chair. Staying busy.

What music genre is on in your car right now?

Classic Rock mostly, sometime country or oldies.

For which sports team would you enter yourself into a free season pass drawing?

I would love to follow NASCAR for an entire season. Or season tickets to the Seattle Seahawks.

Professional History

Mr. Forrest E. Robbins is a Senior Designer/Project Manager responsible for civil/structural plan development, construction administration and QA/QC and is a Certified Bridge Inspector.

Prior to joining Alpha & Omega Group in 2004, Forrest was the Project Engineer for Skamania County Public Works Department in Washington State. Forrest managed the County’s Engineering Department responsible for engineering, design and construction of roadway projects and County infrastructure.

His transportation experience consists of all aspects of roadway design, including five years of bridge inspection. His bridge inspection responsibilities included assisting the Team leader, report preparation, and has acted as the Team Leader for numerous municipal structures since 2001. Forrest has assisted Alpha & Omega Group with four cycles of NCDOT Municipal Bridge Inspection and has assisted with the inspection of the bridge and overhead sign structures at the RDU Airport in 2005 and the Parking Structures in 2009.
