Professional History
Mr. Greg Cols recently completed a Masters degree in structural engineering from NCSU while employed at Alpha & Omega Group, and is an associate member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
While employed at Alpha & Omega, Greg has participated in bridge inspections, bridge analysis, bridge and culvert hydraulic analysis and design, flood studies, storm drainage piped system design, erosion and sedimentation control design, grading plans, staking plans, stormwater management BMP design and inspection, and plan production.
Greg has also worked for the City of Virginia Beach Public Works department and has gained practical experience in storm drainage design, field surveying, bridge design and roadway design.
