Alpha & Omega Group was the structural and hydraulic engineering consultant to Withers and Ravenel for the Walnut Creek Greenway Trail in Raleigh, North Carolina. A&O provided structural engineering services for one
pre-engineered bridge foundation and designed two bridges to cross underneath two active railroads.

Services provided to Withers & Ravenel included hydraulic engineering for a pre-fabricated bridge across Rocky Branch, which included a certified letter of map revision through FEMA, reinforced concrete substructure design, and construction observation. A&O provided structural design services for two bridges passing underneath railroad bridges at two separate locations. A&O worked closely with the City of Raleigh Parks Division, Norfolk Southern Railroad, and the NC Railroad to achieve the appropriate solutions.
