Civil, Structural CADD Technician
Position overview
- 3-5 years of continuous experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation
- Experience with GIS and Bentley Open Roads, or OpenBridge a plus.
- Self-motivated, engaged and team oriented.

Position Requirements
Alpha & Omega Group, PC is seeking a full-time Civil/Structural CADD Technician in Raleigh, NC. The applicant should have experience creating construction plans for a variety of civil and structural design projects, including site development, roadway, bridge, and infrastructure projects. CAD technicians will work directly with professional staff to compile technical data from drawings, field notes, applicable code requirements and other electronic data
Duties and Responsibilities
Create preliminary layouts from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings ensuring they meet A&O standards and code requirements.
Prepare complete plan sets for review by professional staff; assist in QA/QC processes.
Complete projects within scope, budget and schedule.
Review own work and work with other CAD and Design staff to ensure completeness and accuracy and adherence to company standards.
Analyze technical problems; devise new or improved techniques, approaches, and alternative solutions collaboratively with the team.
Working Conditions
This position is full-time, in person, in the Raleigh office.
