Alpha & Omega Group (A&O) is currently providing professional engineering services to JC Edwards Inc. in order to design an elevated boardwalk as part of the Knightdale Station Trail.

This project is part of an overall expansion of Knightdale Station’s residential areas. As the current boardwalks are not easily reached by new residents, a new boardwalk as a part of the same overall system was necessary. The boardwalk is expected to be made of timber and set to be approximately 115 feet long. It will be set to an elevation relative to the design of existing trail.
A&O preformed a site visit in order to gain information and data about the location. We will provide construction drawings showing the plan, profile and details for the boardwalk. We are responsible for making sure that the boardwalk meets current codes, so that the Town of Knightdale may easily obtain permits and respond to all comments. The project is currently underway. Ω
