Alpha & Omega Group provided construction administration services for the repair of a historic bridge located on Hawley Lane in Fayetteville which was suffering from age related damage. This includeded the repair of its retaining walls and structural supports.

The Hawley Land Bridge over Blounts Creek is a structure built in the 1950’s. Due to the fact that it is older, frequent inspections are necessary in order to assess the safety of the bridge. After a routine inspection, multiple issues that required repair, including exposed rebar, cracking and erosion damage were discovered. The City of Fayetteville contacted Alpha & Omega group in order to oversee the repairs as they were done.

A&O reviewed the existing construction drawings, developed plans, specifications and an engineer’s estimate of probable cost as well as assisting with the bidding process. In addition, they also provided construction administration, performed site observations, and directed meetings during the construction process. Ω
